SWAN HILL SOCCER PROUDLY SUPPORTED BY
Swan Hill Regional Soccer Hub
Swan Hill Rural City Council received a welcome funding boost to upgrade facilities at Ken Harrison Recreation Reserve.
Mayor Bill Moar said Council would be receiving $500,000 to go towards a Swan Hill Regional Soccer Hub.
“Funding will enable the construction of a new pavilion at the Ken Harrison Recreation Reserve.
“It will include four unisex change rooms, two unisex umpire facilities, accessible toilet, social space, first aid and storage,” he said.
Cr Moar said the new facility would meet the growing interest and future demands of the Swan Hill Soccer League, as well as assist with their recovery from the current COVID-19 pandemic.
“Soccer is a popular sport in this region and support from the State Government will allow Council to proceed with this project.
“Our soccer community will now be provided with a facility suitable to their needs,” Cr Moar said.
The facility is now completed.
